Hello, I’m Sara. With over 20 years of experience in care and support—including serving as a former Dementia Team Leader—I founded Close to Home Support to offer something truly meaningful: reliable, high-quality companionship that helps older people retain their independence and joy at home.
I understand how deeply important consistency is. Too often, traditional home care means a revolving door of unfamiliar faces. With Close to Home Support, I am always the same familiar face who visits every single time. This allows me to build genuine trust, understand unique routines, and form true friendships with those I support.
Whether it’s sharing a warm cup of tea and a chat, prepping a fresh meal, driving to a GP appointment, or enjoying an afternoon out at the garden centre, my goal is to make daily life easier and more fulfilling. I also act as a reassuring partner for families, providing simple, regular updates after my visits so you always have total peace of mind.
I am fully insured, Enhanced DBS checked, and First Aid trained. More than that, I am passionate about bringing a bright, caring, and dedicated presence to households across Diss, Hopton, and our surrounding villages,
Outside of work, Sara enjoys spending time with her family, her two Cockapoos, Lottie and Millie, country walks and being in the garden. For Sara, it isn’t just about providing support — it’s about building a genuine relationship.
